Blazers and Blackhawks Go Down

The South volleyball team continues its winning ways this week. The team faced two CCC foes, the National Trail Blazers and the Mississinnewa Valley Blackhawks. First up was the Blazers. South went to work and efficiently dispatched them 25-11, 25-6, 25-14.
Next up was the Blackhawks. The first set was close, but South fought off the challenge and won the match in three sets: 29-27, 25-12, 25-9.
Stats for the Trail match: Kate McCollum - 3 aces, 9 digs, 11 kills, and a solo block ; Danyel Lipps - 17 digs, 9 kills; Debbie Brubaker - 15 points, an ace, 5 digs, 34 assists, two kills; Katie McCoy - 16 points, 3 aces, 4 digs, two kills and 3 solo blocks; Kaitlyn Ervin - 10 points, 11 digs, 8 kills; Maggie McCollum - 7 digs and 7 kills; Cailee Bryant - 9 of 9 serve receive and 7 digs.
