Brookville Invitational

Several area teams competed at the Brookville Invitational. On the boys side, Twin Valley South captured the win, while the Brookville girls held off all challengers for their trophy. I was able to touch bases with coach Mabry for his comments about the South Panther girls second place finish. “Overall the team is showing some improvements. We had 7 individuals who set season bests and all four relays. We are not at full strength yet but we're getting close, hopefully. We're still working some things out with individual placements so we can field our best team. We need to find some depth in certain areas so we can compete with the top teams.”
Here are some of the results: The 800mX4 relay was won by a young Brookville relay team - Lindsey Baker, Jessica Wilson, Carolyn Wenner, and Hannah Steck. Three freshmen and a sophomore. Jessica Gebhart of Eaton was first in 100m hurdles
