Football predictions for 10/10

TCN at Missinniwa Valley & The Blackhawks have a new coach and new uniforms. Their program is winning games and has earned some respect this season. Still North's offense is potent and the defense is tough. North goes home with a victory.

Dixie hosts Carlisle. The Hounds gotten some respectable wins this season and have shown that they can play against teams in their division. But they will need to stiffen their defense against a Carlisle offense that can put points on the board. Even though Dixie plays tough at home, I am going with the Indians on Friday night.

Valley View hosts Eaton. The Eaton offense is loosened up this season. With a no-huddle offense, and spread formations they are putting points on the board. Could this be the year that the Eagles take the Spartans. I don't think the Eagle defense can contain the Spartan offense. Valley View by 2 TD's.

Shawnee at Oakwood. Shawnee is struggling against divisional opponents. The Jacks are playing some good football. Jacks win.

TVS at Ansonia: Two teams that are struggling this season. Both teams are having an off year. But this should be an evenly matched contest. TVS by a TD or less.

TVS Junior High at Eaton Invitational

Jessica French 2nd 13:39
Kelly Spitler 4th 13:47
Ginny Ingram 13th 14:25
Lindsey Voge 48th 16:41
Beth Bambeck 50th 16:42
Team 4th place

TVS Wee Panthers. JV's won 14-8. A fumble was picked up by Dillon Ashley and ran back for a game winning TD. Varsity won 32-6. This sets up a battle of the undefeateds as the South varsity hosts unscored upon and undefeated National Trail.
