Good games coming up this week - lots of even matchups between teams with similar records, so next Friday should be filled with battles royale.
Dixie(3-3) at Madison(2-4) Dixie was surprised by Northridge, can they bounce back on the road? Madison eeked out a victory over Carlisle, will their triple option offense work against Dixie? Keys are Dixie stuffing the run and forcing Madison to pass on defense. And keeping Madison's defense off balance with their spread offense. This will be a close game, I am going with my heart - Dixie wins, it will be by less than a TD.
Brookville(1-5) at Carlisle(1-5) Brookville is trying to get out of the basement, can they claw over the Carlisle Indians. Despite their records this should be a good match up. I will wimp out and go with home field advantage. Carlisle by less than a TD.
Tri-County North(4-2) at Ansonia(4-2) Ansonia is always a hard hitting team despite their record. The North defense is on a roll, and the offense has too many weapons. I see North winning by more than a TD.
Twin Valley South(0-6) vs. Bradford(2-4) Bradford began the season on a winning note with 2 early victories. But have been on the skids since then. Their new coach is trying to get the Railroaders back in the win column. TVS has a chance at their first win this season. Is the karma right for South to gain some redemption with a homecoming victory? This is another game where I am going with my heart. South by less than a TD.
Valley View(6-0) at Milton Union(5-1) The Bulldogs are smarting over their loss to Eaton last week. While Valley View had quite the contest in their game against Oakwood. I give the edge to Valley View by a TD or so.
