Greyhounds are Running!

The Greyhounds went to New Miami this past Friday. After an opening day victory the Greyhounds wanted to build some momentum. It did not take long as Dixie scored first on a Tyler Wilson 22 yard run. The team would go on to win 24 to 6. Not only did the team run the ball well, but they kept the New Miami on their heels by throwing for 140 yards as well. Coach Bullock was happy with the win, but not pleased with the teams 8 penalties that cost them about a 100 yards. The team could have had even more success if they had not moved backward so many times.
Wilson would have 13 carries for 100 yards and 2 TD's. Ethan Owen had 11 carries for 60 yards. Chad Craft had 5 carries for 40 yards, a 2 point conversion, passing he was 8 of 14 attempts for 140 yards and 1 TD and 1 interception. Ben Spahr had 6 catches for 122 of those yards plus 1 TD and 1 conversion. On defense Tyler Wilson had 12 tackles, 3 of them for negative yardage and Keith Lukacs also had 12.
