Brookville vs. Eaton: Eaton has a solid team this year, Brookville is tough as well. Both teams re coming off of week one victories. I am giving a slight edge to Eaton for more depth. Eaton by a TD or less.
Dixie vs. New Miami: Dixie's spread offense had some explosive plays against the Panthers. Their defense made some plays in the red zone when they had to. New Miami just has not been that successful. Look for Dixie to win by a TD or more.
Tri-County North at Covington: Last week North had a back and forth struggle with Madison and Covington had a tune up game vs. Miami East. Both teams were in the middle of the pack in the CCC last season. Covington is used to being at the top of the heap, are they back to being the Buccs of old? This is a big test for both teams, it will provide separation between the also ran's and the top of the heap.. I will go with home field advantage here and take Covington by a TD or less.
Twin Valley South at Mississinawa Valley: Both teams are smarting from opening week losses. But the Black Hawks team has been on the upswing as of late. South still needs to prove that they can claw their way out of the cellar. This is another game where playing at home will be an advantage. Look for the Blackhawks to win by more than one score.
Valley View vs. Roger Bacon: Valley View had an impressive opening day victory. Likewise, Roger Bacon easily defeated Middletown Fenwick. I think that Valley View will give them a game, but Roger Bacon will have the upper hand. Roger Bacon by a TD or more.
