South Volleyball - Defense, Deeefense!

Defense is what is being emphasized by coach Roberts this year for her TVS volleyball team. She felt that was a weakness for last season's team and so she hopes to turn this weakness into a strength for this years campaign. She was disappointed that the team didn't compete with the top of the league last year and wants to get back into the elite of the CCC. She is doing this with the help of seniors Bethany Garrett and Christina Smith. Kate McCollum and Dany Lipps are also returning contributors. The team may even have one or two freshman step up and play on the varsity squad. So there will some youth in the mix, but experienced youth. Coach Roberts noted that many of the girls on the team played Junior Olympic volleyball. Which prepares them well for high school play.
This years roster is as follows: Jennifer Bambeck, Debbie Brubaker, Cailee Bryant, Audrey Burke, Katherine Colby, Kali DuChemin, Kate Ervin, Bethany Garrett, Lisa Goeke, Chelsy Isner, Dany Lipps, Kate McCollum, Maggie McCollum, Katie McCoy, Christina Smith.
