South Champs of CCC

The Twin Valley South track team easily fended off challenger Bethel to win the Cross County meet this past Saturday for the second year in row. Tri-County North finished 6th. The girls championship was won by Ansonia. Locally Twin Valley South was fourth and Tri-County North was 8th. South had the track and field version of a double double - two athletes that won two events. Kait Ervin was also a South double winner - winning both discus and shot put. Jessie Simpson was a double winner also in the shot put and discus.
