Madison Invitational: Panthers Bring Home the Hardware

Both the boys and girls final standings were close. The girls side was in doubt until the last event, the 4X400m relay. The Spartans finished first, but a second place finish was all that Madison needed to win by a point 121 to 120. Jenna Nance of Madison set a new state record in the pole vault - going 11'6", she would later set a new school and meet record in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.6. The South boys were neck and neck with Valley View but finished strong enough to hold them back for yet another first place finish. A total of 11 schools participated in the meet
